You are in Arganzuela, a well-connected residential area between Atocha and Madrid Río, the large riverside park along the Manzanares with miles of paths, playgrounds and bike lanes. Nearby are Matadero, one of the city’s most interesting cultural centres, the Planetarium, Tierno Galván Park and the Railway Museum.
It is an excellent choice for enjoying Madrid at a calmer pace: quiet, great value, a few stops from the centre and with green spaces for walks or sport.

The nearest station is Puerta de Toledo (line 5), 4 minutes on foot. Within a few minutes you also reach Acacias (line 5, 5 min) and Embajadores (lines 3 and 5, plus Cercanías trains, 7 min). If you prefer the bus, there are stops one minute away: Toda la calle, Julián Calle Espada and Acacias.
By car, quick access to the M-30. To get to the airport, take Cercanías line C-1 from Atocha or Recoletos, metro line 8 from Nuevos Ministerios or the Airport Express bus from Atocha.

Great location and easy communication! Only thing was to get in the building with the codes and the phone which sometimes would not work or take multiple tries to work. But the studio was very clean and all good. The sleeping couch is a bit small for 2 people though.

un poco complesso entrare, perché per accedere all’appartamento devi superare almeno 4 porte con codice (ti serve il telefono e connessione) ed é un po’ un labirinto. però una volta abituati é stato divertente e l’host é stato super preciso con le indicazioni, non si può sbagliare! posto perfetto per muoversi a piedi, in tutte le direzioni, vicino alla metro porta de Toledo e su una strada piena di fermate del bus. La casa ha tutti gli strumenti per preparare da mangiare, ma non ci troverete cose di base (caffè, sale, zucchero, olio etc), quindi eventualmente portatele, oppure c’è un supermercato proprio di fronte!
