With two double bedrooms, air conditioning and a bathtub, it is perfect for families, work groups or students who want to make the city’s most literary neighbourhood their own.
The sloping ceilings give it a special, very cosy charm. Two bedrooms with double beds for a good night’s rest and a warm living room to get together at the end of the day.
The kitchen is equipped for everyday home life, the bathroom has a bathtub and the dryer makes daily life easier. Air conditioning, heating and fibre wifi keep you comfortable all year round.

The Literary Quarter is the Madrid of Cervantes, Lope de Vega and Quevedo: streets with verses inlaid in the pavement, Plaza de Santa Ana, the Teatro Español and some of the city’s most classic bars. Paseo del Prado, with the Prado, Thyssen and CaixaForum museums, Retiro Park and Puerta del Sol are a few minutes’ walk away.

Antón Martín (line 1) metro is a 4-minute walk; Sevilla (line 2, 7 min) and Sol (lines 1, 2 and 3, plus Cercanías trains, 7 min) are also very close. Bus stops are 3 minutes away (Antón Martín, San Sebastián – Atocha and Canalejas), with routes into the centre.
To get to the airport, take Cercanías line C-1 from Atocha or Recoletos, metro line 8 from Nuevos Ministerios or the Airport Express bus from Atocha.

Great location and a lovely apartment. Communication around my stay was great. The stairs with heavy luggage are a bit difficult and the ceiling – particularly in the bathroom – is very low. But otherwise every thing was great.

Overall decent place. Would recommend if you are not tall and are not looking to hang out in the Airbnb for long. We spent the majority of time out in the city. The best part is definitely the location. The apartment is a renovated attic and you cannot fully stand up in the bathroom, and you need to completely crawl around in one of the bedrooms, you cannot stand at all. It’s also difficult to stand in the shower. The kitchen is very narrow but has a two burner induction stove and microwave. We didn’t cook there at all. However it was equipped with everything we needed (washer/dryer and laundry soap, hairdryer, dishes). You need to walk up 7 stories there is no elevator. The cleaner came 15 mins earlier than checkout. Also the entry to the apartment was restricted after 12am you would need to call the landlord which was a little stressful given Spain’s nightlife, you’ll want to be out past that time. If you’re looking for a decent place in a great location, this is fine.

Location was great. Just a 5 minute walk from the Prado museum and central to a lot of great restaurants and stores. The apartment is on the 6th floor, there is no elevator. I consider myself to be quite active but I found this to be taxing, especially when carrying heavy items like water, luggage, etc. upstairs. Be prepared for VERY low ceilings. I’m only 5’3 or 160cm and to shower, use the restroom, wash laundry or use one of the attic bedrooms, expect to do a lot of bending over. The apartment was mostly clean when we arrived. The fridge was a bit dirty and the toilet had some stains. The unit did include AC which was a plus.

Excellent location and service for the price. We had just what we needed to visit Madrid and the location is great. Indeed the space is quite narrow but it is made in a way that you have just what you need and the comfort of a modern and clean appartement in the city center.
