A modern, newly renovated studio on the fifth floor of Calle Montera, between Puerta del Sol and Gran Vía: light, calm and central Madrid at your feet. With air conditioning and a work area, it will be your home while you spend some time in the city, for work, as a couple or with a friend, for up to three people.

This contract respects the original conditions of the booking and must specify the duration of the stay, indicating that the purpose of the rental is not indefinite occupation of the property nor use as a permanent residence. It must also include the tenant’s habitual residence address (where they are officially registered) and state the reason for the rental.
– The address where the keys are delivered is different from that of the apartment.
– Please note that if your arrival is on the same day as your booking, we cannot guarantee that the apartment will be ready before 5:30 PM.
– Montera Street, where the apartment is located, is popularly known for hosting some brothels. These establishments are currently very well regulated and do not cause any kind of disturbance. However, if you pay attention, it is still common to see people working as prostitutes on the street. Although this is becoming less frequent, these businesses still exist in several buildings along the street. The brothels operate only during daylight hours, and there is a police station on the same street, so safety in the heart of Madrid is more than guaranteed. We like to inform our tenants about this because there is one of these establishments in our building. We assure you that it does not cause any inconvenience or issues, but you may see some women at the entrance or along the street. We prefer to be transparent in case this might be a concern for you.

You are right by Gran Vía, Madrid’s grand avenue: theatres and musicals, cinemas, flagship stores, rooftop bars with views and some of the city’s liveliest restaurants. Puerta del Sol, Callao, Chueca and Malasaña are a few minutes’ walk away.
It is the perfect place to live Madrid to the full: the metro on your doorstep to get around the city and, as evening falls, the best atmosphere without taking any transport.

The nearest station is Gran Vía (lines 1 and 5), one minute on foot. Within a few minutes you also reach Sevilla (line 2, 4 min) and Sol (lines 1, 2 and 3, plus Cercanías trains, 5 min). If you prefer the bus, there are stops one minute away: Gran Vía – Montera, Metro Gran Vía and Sevilla.
To get to the airport, take Cercanías line C-1 from Atocha or Recoletos, metro line 8 from Nuevos Ministerios or the Airport Express bus from Atocha.

Great location for shopping and other tourist activities. We were there on a Friday, holiday weekend, night, it was quite noisy. All that’s been said about the stairs is correct, you do have to be fit! Probably best for a couple plus child maybe as very compact and really one big room. Bathroom door is a bit flimsy if just friends. Wish we’d known that nearby restaurant was popular as we’d like to have gone, but it was fully booked up! For us, leaving luggage at the admin office, 10 minutes walk away was very helpful. Thanks.
