Juan è stato disponibilissimo sin da subito, sia per l’orario del check-in sia per le nostre richieste. L’alloggio è in una zona molto comoda e piena di bei locali, in poco tempo si possono raggiungere tutte le attrazioni principali a piedi, ma per chi ne avesse bisogno nelle immediate vicinanze c’è anche una fermata della metro. Le camere e il bagno erano puliti e nonostante si sentisse un po’ di musica provenire dalla discoteca, siamo riusciti a dormire senza problemi. Ottimo appoggio per un weekend a Madrid!

You live at Spain’s kilometre zero: Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Calle Preciados and Gran Vía are a short walk away, as are the Royal Palace, the Teatro Real and the Literary Quarter. This is the Madrid of theatres, shops, chocolate cafés and traditional taverns.
From here, all of Madrid is within reach: you can walk almost anywhere and, when you can’t, the metro is on the corner. And when you get home, the city is still alive all around you.

Sol (lines 1, 2 and 3, plus Cercanías trains) metro is a 3-minute walk; Sevilla (line 2, 4 min) and Gran Vía (lines 1 and 5, 7 min) are also very close. Bus stops are one minute away (Canalejas, Race of San Jerónimo-Cedaceros and Benavente), with routes into the centre.
To get to the airport, take Cercanías line C-1 from Atocha or Recoletos, metro line 8 from Nuevos Ministerios or the Airport Express bus from Atocha.
