A charming, fully renovated attic on Calle Montera, between Puerta del Sol and Gran Vía, that surprises with its light and calm. With air conditioning, it will be your home while you spend some time in Madrid, for work, as a couple or with a friend, for up to three people.
Sloping ceilings and light streaming in from above create a warm, special atmosphere. The bedroom has a double bed and the living room a sofa bed for a third guest.

– Calle Montera, where the apartment is located, is a well-known street in Madrid. The street is traditionally known for having some adult entertainment venues. These establishments are currently subject to strict controls and do not generally cause any problems, but you may occasionally see people engaged in prostitution on the street. Although this is becoming less common, these businesses still exist in several buildings along the street. The adult entertainment venues generally operate during daylight hours, and there is also a police station on the same street, so security in the heart of Madrid is well maintained. We like to provide this information because there is one of these establishments in our building. We assure you that it does not cause any inconvenience or problems, although you may see someone outside the entrance or elsewhere along the street. We prefer you to be aware of this in case it may be an issue for you.
– The apartment is not recommended for children under 12 years old, as the sleeping area is accessed via a spiral staircase and the property is located in an area with adult entertainment venues.

Living by Gran Vía means having all of Madrid at hand. In the morning, the metro on the corner gets you to the office or to class; in the evening, a musical, a rooftop with views or a stroll through Malasaña and Chueca, which start two streets away. Puerta del Sol, the Royal Palace and Retiro Park are a short walk, and you will never have to think twice about where to have dinner.
Gran Vía (lines 1 and 5) metro is a 1-minute walk; Sevilla (line 2, 4 min) and Sol (lines 1, 2 and 3, plus Cercanías trains, 5 min) are also very close. Bus stops are one minute away (Gran Vía – Montera, Metro Gran Vía and Sevilla), with routes into the centre.
To get to the airport, take Cercanías line C-1 from Atocha or Recoletos, metro line 8 from Nuevos Ministerios or the Airport Express bus from Atocha.
