Lavapiés is Madrid’s most multicultural and creative neighbourhood: theatres such as the Valle-Inclán, cultural centres like La Casa Encendida and La Tabacalera, galleries, bookshops and food from all over the world. The Reina Sofía Museum, the Prado, the Rastro and Puerta del Sol are a short walk away.
Everything is close: within minutes you reach Atocha and the centre, and there is always a square with terraces, an exhibition or a new restaurant to discover around the corner.

The nearest station is Puerta de Toledo (line 5), 3 minutes on foot. Within a few minutes you also reach La Latina (line 5, 6 min) and Acacias (line 5, 9 min). If you prefer the bus, there are stops 2 minutes away: Toledo – Humilladero, Toledo – La Paloma and Metro Puerta de Toledo.
To get to the airport, take Cercanías line C-1 from Atocha or Recoletos, metro line 8 from Nuevos Ministerios or the Airport Express bus from Atocha. And if you come by car, the building has a parking space.

We had a great 2-week stay at the apartment. Beautifully situated in a quiet corner of the Rastro neighborhood of antique stores. Super peaceful and chill area and easily walkable to the city center’s attractions like Plaza Mayor, Reina Sofia Museum and Chueca. Also super easy to grab the Metro! The apartment had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.
